The Legal and Legislative Committee at TSACA has been working hard for our members in 2016. We have created a City Liaison Committee with the City of Joplin and have been meeting regularly all year. While fostering a great working relationship with City staff, we have been able to support positive changes to City policy. Working together, we were able to get an updated change order policy approved which protects the City and provides a fair and predictable process for contractors. Our meetings are now focused on working with staff to improve building permit applications and the inspection process. These are just a couple of examples of how your TSACA L&L Committee is working for you.
